Thinking of going into business for yourself? The Seattle Public Library has a free workshop where you can talk to experienced professionals and get resources to turn your idea into reality. The “Your Business — Start Smart” workshop takes place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10 at the Delridge Branch, 5423 Delridge Way S.W., 206-733-9125.
Join local experts to learn about starting your own business. You’ll hear from the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Library and local business mentors. This workshop will cover:
· Characteristics and motivations of entrepreneurs
· Initial considerations, steps and planning
· Market research tools
· Financing options
· Local resources for help
