Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration At Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Baptist Church

On Sunday, January 19, Rev. Dr. Linda Smith, Senior Pastor and the members of Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Baptist Church will honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., one of history’s most influential and inspiring civil rights leaders. Dr. King’s example of sacrifice, service, and conviction in the face of great injustice reminds us that positive change is possible when we join, in solidarity.

We invite the community to join us for this year’s celebration on Sunday, January 19th, 3:00pm at Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Baptist Church, 4519 NE 10th Street, Renton, WA 98059.

Our guest speaker will be attorney Sheley Secrest. Sheley is the NAACP President – Alaska, Oregon, Washington State Area Conference President.

“If you can’t fly, run. If you can’t run, walk. If you can’t walk, crawl, but by all means, keep moving!”  – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
