Rainier Beach 18, Ballard 15

The Vikings ended their three-game losing streak against Ballard, largely thanks to their defense, which held Ballard to a season-low 15 points. Sophomore Oteka Mwamba sealed the victory by scoring the game’s final touchdown, running for 95 yards after a screen pass from quarterback James Siva.

Meridian 48, Nathan Hale 15

In a non-conference matchup, Meridian dominated Nathan Hale on the road. Trojans quarterback Jaeger Fyfe contributed with two touchdowns (one rushing and one passing), while running back Landen Downey scored twice (one receiving and one rushing), leading Meridian to their highest-scoring victory of the season.

West Seattle 20, Chief Sealth 17

In a West Seattle showdown between two undefeated teams, the game came down to the final seconds. Despite Chief Sealth falling behind 17-0 in the first half, they managed to outscore West Seattle for three straight quarters. However, with the game tied at 17 and only five seconds remaining, West Seattle remained undefeated by successfully kicking a field goal, handing Chief Sealth their first loss of the season.

Ingraham 28, Lakeside 6

With an impressive 3-1 overall record and remaining undefeated in conference play, Ingraham claimed the top spot in the Metro League’s Sound Division. Their defense continued to shine by holding Lakeside to just six points. For the third consecutive week, Ingraham’s defense limited their opponents to two touchdowns or less. They will hit the road next week to face Chief Sealth.

O’Dea 63, Seattle Prep 24

The Fighting Irish put on an offensive showcase, scoring a season-high 49 points in the first half alone. Their lead of 35-0 at halftime paved the way for a dominant victory over Seattle Prep. O’Dea remained undefeated and will face Eastside Catholic in their next game.

Roosevelt 56, Franklin 0

Roosevelt’s offense was unstoppable, putting up a season-high 56 points. Their commanding 35-0 lead at halftime set the tone for a convincing win. The Roughriders’ defense also secured their first shutout of the year. After finishing 1-10 last year, Roosevelt has started this season 3-1 through four games and will face an undefeated West Seattle team in their next matchup.
