Eastside Catholic 35, Seattle Prep 13

Eastside Catholic quarterback Brady Mckelheer threw five first half touchdowns to lead the Crusaders to a 35-13 win over Seattle Prep.

The fireworks started on the first play of the game as Mckeelher threw a 77-yard touchdown pass to give Eastside Catholic an early 7-0 lead. Seattle Prep would strike back as quarterback Braeden Smith connected with Will Floyd on a 99-yard touchdown pass. The PAT for Prep was no good, as they trailed 7-6.

Mckeelheer would go on to connect with four different receivers (Evan Giacobbe, Andrew Martorano, Dallas Daley and Ishe Kanhukamwe) for touchdowns, as the Crusaders scored 28 unanswered points to take a 35-6 lead into the half.

Smith would connect with Floyd again in the second half to round out the scoring for Seattle Prep.

Lincoln 42, Chief Sealth 0

The Lynx improved to 3-0 with a shutout victory over Chief Sealth. So far this season, Lincoln has outscored their opponent this year by a combined total of 112-12. Chief Sealth will try to get back on track next week as they face Franklin.

Roosevelt 45, Lakeside 15

The Roughriders scored 35 unanswered points as they improved their Metro League record to 2-0 (2-2 Overall. Lakeside’s Arthur Stedman threw for two touchdowns in a losing effort.

Blanchet 27, Ingraham 7

The Braves took a 13-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back at they posted a 27-7 win over Ingraham.

Garfield 35, Ballard 17

The Bulldogs remained undefeated with a big Metro league win over Ballard.
