The Garfield Bulldogs and Eastside Catholic Crusaders both advanced to the Metro League Girls Tournament Championship game with impressive wins Wednesday night.
The Lady Bulldogs posted a 49-44 win over Seattle Prep in a Metro League semi-final matchup. Seattle Prep’s Molly Moffitt scored 17, while teammate Tamia Stricklin scored 15 for the Panthers.
Eastside Catholic advanced with a 62-46 win over Franklin.
Eastside Catholic and Garfield will square off at 6:00 p.m. this Friday, February 14 at Seattle Pacific University. While Franklin and Seattle Prep will play at 5:45 p.m. this Thursday, February 13 at Nathan Hale for the Metro League’s #3 and #4 seeds in the SeaKing District Playoffs next week.
