Bishop Blanchet 11

Rainier Beach’s defense held Bishop Blanchet to just three field goals as they won their second consecutive game. The Vikings’ Damari King recorded an interception, and Zavion Watkins returned an interception 50 yards for a touchdown. Offensively, King led all scorers with two rushing touchdowns, and Oteka Mwamba returned a kickoff 96 yards for a touchdown.

O’Dea 38

Lincoln 16

The Fighting Irish offense was led by Tuie Aya-Ay’s 71 rushing yards, while Jason Brown scored a 21-yard rushing touchdown. Quarterback Antone Araujo threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Zander Turner, Quinn White recorded a 27-yard rushing touchdown, and kicker Owen Livingston’s field goal gave O’Dea a 24-0 halftime lead. Scoring two more touchdowns in the second half courtesy of Lucas Hercules-Cruz and Janio Molieri, O’Dea won 38-16 to remain undefeated as they celebrated senior night.

West Seattle 23

Lakeside 7

The Wildcats turned up the defensive pressure as they posted a big win against Lakeside. West Seattle forced a safety on a punt attempt by Lakeside due to the snap that went over the punter’s head. Linebacker Daniel Waters returned an interception three yards for a touchdown as the Wildcats took an early 9-0 lead.

Quarterback Bo Gionet followed up with touchdown passes to Samuel Turner and Gibson Aguilar to close out the scoring for West Seattle. Gionet completed 16 of 21 passes for 268 yards and two touchdowns, and he had 11 carries for 47 yards to lead the Wildcats. Meanwhile, Nick Craven ended the game with 100 all-purpose yards (19 rushing, 81 receiving) for West Seattle. On the defensive side, Waters finished the game with 12 tackles (10 solo, 2 assists) to lead the Wildcats.

Eastside Catholic 31

Garfield 10

Eastside Catholic’s Tyson Weaver led all players with two touchdowns, while teammate Jeremiah Burroughs led all rushers with 135 yards and a touchdown as the Crusaders improved to 4-2. Garfield’s Rahshawn Clark scored the Bulldogs’ lone touchdown returning a kickoff for 86 yards.

Seattle Prep 49

Ballard 34

Behind leadership from quarterback Beau Oaksmith, Seattle Prep scored their second-highest point total of the season against the Ballard Beavers. Oaksmith’s three touchdowns helped the Panthers overcome their three-game losing streak as they’re set to host Eastside Catholic next week for homecoming.

In a race to secure first place in Metro League’s Sound division, Roosevelt and Ingraham matched up for the first time this season. Roosevelt extended their win streak to five games as they scored 40 or more points for the fifth game in a row. The Roughriders, now undefeated in league play, hold the number one spot within the division, while Ingraham drops to second.

Brewster 37

Looking to keep their playoff hopes alive, Chief Sealth on the road escapes with a one-point win against a non-conference opponent Brewster.

Nathan Hale 38

Franklin 19

Despite facing a 12-0 deficit early in the game, Franklin would battle back to take a 13-12 lead at halftime. Unfortunately, Nathan Hale would score 26 unanswered points in the second half to claim a Metro League victory over the Quakers.
