Michelle Merriweather, president and CEO of the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle, was recently honored with the National Urban League’s 2026 Women of Power Award. During an interview on the Rhythm & News Podcast, she discussed her commitment to community leadership and collaborative efforts, including co-founding the Black Future Co-op Fund. Her work focuses on leveraging influence to strengthen Black communities throughout the region.
