Mother Rubye Lee McCullar

Sunrise July 17, 1935 – Sunset July 9, 2021

Rubye Lee McCullar was born in Bigelow, Arkansas and attended school in Bigelow and Morrilton. 

She lived in Michigan and California before settling in Seattle in the early 1950’s.  She retired from the Seattle Police Department. She was a member/Mother of Greater New Bethel Baptist Church and belonged to several Masonic organizations. 

She is survived by (3) daughters Tami, Sandy, and D’Juna; son, Charles Eric; a sister, Maxine; (6) grandchildren Tayvia, Eric, Erica, Arereonda, Jayza and Akeam; (9) great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. 

A Memorial Service will be held at Damascus International Fellowship Baptist Church, 5261 Rainier Ave So, Seattle on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Dana E. McClendon, officiating. Live streaming on GNB Facebook page and church website www.gnbchurch.com/watch.
