Mount Zion Women’s Ministry Fall Workshop Recap

Mount Zion Women’s Ministry recently held its fall workshop. Where Bridget Griffin, who works for the YWCA and is a Domestic Violence Legal Navigator for the Survivors First Program, was one of the featured speakers of the event. Griffin provided an informative and transparent report on the effects of the pandemic on survivors of domestic violence in the Black community. It was an outstanding presentation.

The in-person event was well attended. Mount Zion women were very appreciative of the services that the YWCA and Griffin provided. The women also finalized their summer project of donating purses filled with toiletries to local shelters.
