The president of Mount Zion Baptist Church Women’s Ministry, Rev. Dr. Phyllis Ratcliff Beaumonte, has named Sarah J. E. Dean and Dr. Virgie Harris Haley as this year’s co-chairs of the 82nd Women’s Ministry Anniversary Celebration. The activities are planned through March 2024, with the co-chairs creatively working with their committee chairs to plan each of the activities.
The celebration begins with a Powerful Prayer and Praise experience and encounter the goodness of God on Sat., January 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church. Sister Carolyn Davis is the Prayer Breakfast chair, and has planned a wonderfully blessed experience that you do not want to miss. Everyone is invited to share in this celebration. The suggested donation is $10.
On February 17, the Marketplace and Arts Fair will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Mount Zion’s Jessie Shields Fellowship Hall. Dr. Georgia McDade, who is chairing this event, has a fantastic line-up of vendors for shopping pleasure, and artistic presentations for your enjoyment.
