On Friday, December 17 at The Christ Spirit Church, the Seattle King County NAACP, Blanket Coverage, The Richard Sherman Foundation and US Nails-Renton sponsored “A Day of Giving.” This event was led by 2nd Vice President Erica Conway.
The Seattle King County NAACP Branch identified over 75 families from various schools within King County who needed assistance during this Christmas season. During this event each family was given a $100 gift card, toys for children age 12 and under and a gift card for children 13 and up.
The Seattle King County NAACP “A Day of Giving” also provided 100 gift bags consisting of socks, gloves, hats, hand warmers and toiletries to individuals living in the Skyway Tiny Village and those who are displaced on the streets.
