Crews working on behalf of Seattle City Light will close both westbound lanes and one eastbound lane on Denny Way between Stewart St and Minor Ave N for transmission line work. The closures will occur between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. each night between October 28 and November 22.
What to expect:
- Beginning Saturday, October 28, both westbound lanes and one eastbound lane of Denny Way between Stewart St and Minor Ave N will be closed seven days a week from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. until Thursday, November 23. One eastbound lane will be open to general traffic.
- Pedestrian access will be provided via the sidewalk on the south side of Denny Way.
- A signed detour route for westbound traffic will be in place during this closure. The detour route will be Stewart St to Boren Ave, Boren Ave to Fairview Ave N, and Fairview Ave N to Denny Way.
- Traffic control will be provided during the closure.
