The Beach Boyz won their first game of the season with an impressive win over the Ravens, as the Vikings offense could not be stopped. Coach Lovell Sykes did great job with the play calling to keep the Ravens off-balanced. Beach got touchdowns from Marvian Dunmore-King, Adrian Allen, Khaliel Tate and Damari King. Defensively, Head Coach Kitty King and her mini “LOB” were relentless as they gave up no points on the day.

King County Chiefs 27, Rainier Ravens 0
Behind great blocking by their offensive line, the Chiefs’ tandem of Savionte Edgecombe and Jeremiah Lard had a monster of a day. Edgecombe rushed for over 200 yards and three touchdowns, while Lard chipped in a 100+ yards and one touchdown of his own as King County posted a shut-out win over the Rainier Ravens. On defense, the Chiefs were real stingy as the Ravens were unable to cross the 50-yard line. It was a great all-around performance by the Chiefs who played in the first-ever game for the franchise.

Rainier Beach played their hearts out, but cards just weren’t in their favor as they lost their first game of the season.

The SeaTac offense got enough done to seal the game with touchdowns runs by Bubba Ulugalu (20 yds) and Mark Tafia (40 yds). The Sharks were led on defense by Sua Taupule, Tama Ma’alona, Elijah Barnes, Sam Eneliko, and Fia Kamoto. Sharks 1-0 face off against the Auburn Panthers this Saturday.
