The Renton Rangers scored a season-high 47 points as they got a big win over their Renton City rivals – The Benson Bruins. Kingdom Mize scored the lone touchdown for Benson as they dropped to 0-2. 

“This was a tough loss for our team. We were able to get our running game going on some plays, but we weren’t able to do a lot against their defense today. We will be working hard in practice and getting better each week,” said Benson Bruins 10U quarterback Curtis Thomas, III after the game.

Heir took their show on the road to battle against the number two ranked team on the West Coast — Oakland Dynamite. Heir’s defensive dominance held the number two ranked team scoreless, as they managed to score two touchdowns, as they won their second matchup against a nationally-ranked opponent this season.

The Gridiron defense’s ability to win at the line of scrimmage, play good coverage, and make fundamental tackles kept their opponent out of the endzone as they scored 54 points to get their first win of the season.

Gridiron’s offense for back-to-back weeks has been able to reach the endzone at will. Defensively, they have not allowed a touchdown, as they improved to 2-0.
