Bruins running back CJ Benning scored Benson’s only touchdown, with fullback Kemarjae Davis converting the point after. Benson’s defense was led by defensive end Irvin Sosa Zuniga and linebackers Alex Prince and Hunter Stone.
“Lake Stevens was the better team today,” said Benson linebacker Alex Prince after the game. “Max (Cook) had a great game, and their defense was tough all day. We will make adjustments and be ready for CD next week.”
