Benson Bruins (11U) 60, 5-Star 0

Coming off consecutive losses, the Benson Bruins welcomed back CJ Vala, who played in his first regular-season game after suffering a preseason injury. In his return to the field, Vala and his Benson Bruin 11U teammates scored a season-high 60 points and defensively kept 5 Star out of the end zone to improve their record to 4-2.

Heir (12U)50, Gridiron 0

The Apex Predators are ranked in the top 10 in the country, and once again they showed why. In the last four weeks, Heir’s defense has allowed just one touchdown, as they posted wins of 46-0, 51-0, 64-6, and this weekend 50-0. They started the game off with an onside kick from Brody Robertson that was recovered by Dash Jones. Setting the tempo and momentum that they carried throughout the game, Quarterback Cordae Norling would connect right away with Jones on 40-yard touchdown pass. Norling was just getting started as he would record four more touchdowns, finding Jones for another touchdowns, Justin Suega for one touchdown, and scoring two rushing touchdowns of his own. Marquis Tovia also scored a rushing touchdown for Heir, while Elijah Littles, Derrick Deloney, and Ahmire Rooters-Hart all recorded sacks and played critical roles on defense as Heir held Gridiron to just 18 yards. With the win, Heir remains undefeated in the 12U division.

CD Panthers 19, Heir (11U) 7

The CD Panthers ended their four-game losing streak with a 19-7 win. On defense, the Panthers allowed just one touchdown on the afternoon, while the offense was in sync, resulting in a double-digit win for CD.
