CD Panthers vs Benson Bruins
The CD Panthers and Benson Bruins babies battled hard in a competitive match. Both teams scored once, and were very impressive on the defensive end. Sunday’s heavily anticipated matchup between the C.D Panthers and the Benson Bruins 6U lived up to its billing. It was a great defensive battle from start to finish for both teams. C.D Panthers defense was stout all game, only giving up one first down all game. The C.D defense is led by Ahviel Moimoi, Treveonte Williams, Jay’ ceon McGreww, KB Clark, Howard Robb, Lawrence Phillips. Ahviel led the way with 5 sacks and 4 tackles. Stevie and Howard had the offense flowing with their quick moves. The running backs Lawrence and Ahviel ran with power well beyond their years. Both teams had fun and most importantly, both teams got better as young football players. Great game to both teams.
Auburn Panthers vs 5 Star Cougars
The Rookies battled on the field this weekend! What a show by these little guys! The Auburn Panther’s Kaiden Peterson-Leonard, rumbled for a touchdown, while his offensive line made some amazing blocks for him! The Panther’s Kaiden also threw two passes this game. The first was intended for Panther’s Michael (MJ) Fox, Jr., but fell incomplete but the second was a completed pass to DeShawn Brown, who ran in for the touchdown. Additional touchdowns came later in the game, after some incredible plays and pressure from the 5 Star defense, both touchdowns were made by Auburn’s Trevonte Wynn! The 5 Star Cougars gave maximum effort in this loss, their efforts are to be applauded.
