NW Premier 8U Scores And Highlights 10-3-18

CD Panthers       40
Auburn Panthers 7
Tough battle at the Panthers 8U showdown.  CD with the victory 40-7.  These boys balled out but left it all on the field and came together for a Panther Pride group photo at the end.  Tough game with one official and two volunteers. Auburn gave their best effort but came up short this week. But they have next game to be better.

Benson Bruins  34
Seatac Sharks     6
The Bruins remained unbeaten defeating the Sharks 34-6. William Conroy, Jr. led the way with two impressive touchdowns, and Choice Wilkins, Bernard “BB” Bourgeois and Cordell Jones also scored touchdowns for the Bruins. The Bruins defense was locked in and challenging every yard. Top defensive performers included Marcus Mosby, Jr., who grabbed a key interception, Eli Marshall and Kaden Johnson who picked up some big hits and pass deflections. Seatac came in ready and prepared. They gave a valiant on both offense and defense. Great job Sharks.

5 Star Cougars   19
BGC Seahawks  12
With touchdowns by Hunter Stone, one yard rush, and Sarotray Roberson, thirty-two yard rush, the 8U Seahawks put up a great fight against the Cougars. With this being the second time the two teams met this season, the Seahawks wanted to even the score. There were several great runs by Satoray Roberson, Marquis Tovia and Damire Redding. With Jaylen Swinny having several defensive stops that kept the Seahawks in the game. But, the Cougars out lasted the Seahawks with aggressive offense and a stubborn defense to pull out the win.

Puget Sound Lancers   31
West Seattle Bengals      0
The Lancers’ D’Marco Williams, one touchdown, Karte James, one touchdown, Chezz Carson, one touchdown, MarQuees Huggins, two touchdowns and an extra point, had the Lancer’s offense on fire.
The Lancers defense stifled the Bengals all game long forcing two 4th and 50’s for the Bengals offense. The Lancers offense had four different players score a total of  five touchdowns. Although the Bengals were unable to bring home a win, the effort this week should be applauded as they put forth a competitive effort.

Tacoma Spartans       18
Beacon Hill Cowboys   0
It was a hard loss for the Cowboys. But they had some  nice runs by Demetrius Gordon Jr and Aalontae Coe and some great tackling by Zion Ulugalu  and Mario Williams. But they just couldn’t  pull  it off as the Spartans came prepared to win.Their offense and defense were on point this week.

Rainier Ravens    62
Lakewood LYTE  0
Although the score did not go Lakewood’s way, the players fought until the end. Da’Marion Davis, Maziah Gyan. and Kingston Morow were able to make a couple of big plays on the offensive side of the ball thanks to some key blocks by Brandawn Laititi. The Ravens’ offense was just too much to handle. The Ravens ran away with this one as their game plan was executed almost to perfection.
