From the jump the Cowboys came out on fire. Sir Jewel Glover of the Cowboys put the team on his back in the first half scoring three times, once on a 35 yard touchdown run and twice on passes from quarterback Lamar Darden, Jr. In the second half Zavier Traxler got in on the scoring with a two yard run and Lamar Darden, Jr. scored on a six yard run. Jorden Mack, LeBron Adams and Nehemiah Wilturner all scored on extra points. The defense was incredible hence the shutout. Zavier Traxler and LeBron Adams had intetceptions, Charles Black, Jr had numerous tackles along with the twins Lyron and Leon Wilkinson. The 5 Star Cougars a good team in their own right struggled this week but played their hearts out with grit and energy. They are to be applauded for their effort only to lose to a more disciplined Cowboys team this week. But for the Cougars its only the fourth week of play and they have next week to come out an improve an already good team.
Benson Bruins 25
Rainier Ravens 0
The Bruins came into this contest with winning on their minds. In the game many were calling “the main event” of the day, the two winningest teams over the past few years went to battle for the first time this season. Although the final score was 25-0, the Ravens were well coached and the game was close for the majority of the contest. Raven’s running back J’Shaun Wilson who aged up to 10U this season, showed that he can run against bigger, older kids and is easily one of the top running backs at the 10U level. On this day though, the Bruins were too much for the Ravens. Quarterback Micah Meneese came ready to play – setting his players up beautifully and finding his way to the end zone when needed. The Bruins defense was dialed in all game including an impressive goal line stand. This was the Bruins third straight shut out. With determination and valiant effort the Ravens played their hearts out and will be back next in the hopes of reestablishing their winning ways.

SeaTac Sharks 0
In big games playmakers make big plays and the Seahawk’s SaToray Roberson 54 yard run, Dejon Rhodes Jr. 6 yard pass to Hunter Stone and Marjon Black Chatman 25 and 75 yard romps were all big plays. The Seahawks were a unified unit again this week as the defense made sure a win was secure with a stifling performance. The Seatac Sharks by no means came into this contest with a shutout in mind and their effort in this game is not to be remised. Their energy and effort is to be commended even in a lose. Football is not easy and the Sharks, a good team came in to make it as hard on the Seahawks as they could. Valiantly they played only to lose to the better team, this week.
