NW Premier Junior Football 12U/14U Scores And Highlights 9-18-19

12U
Benson Bruins 54
Puget Sound Lancers 0
The Bruins remained undefeated, beating the Lancers 54-0. Benson continued to show its incredible depth at running back with highlight worthy touchdown runs from Damari King and Luther Tucker. Perhaps the biggest surprise of the 12U game was the standout performance of Bruins newcomer rookie Cassius Culpepper. Culpepper showed his impressive athleticism, scoring two touchdowns including a pick six. The Bruins played with a balanced attack keeping the Lancers scoreless this go around. The Lancers a very talented team were unable to find their rhythm and were held at bay by a stingy Bruin defense while the offense ran their playbook almost to perfection. It was a competitive contest from on both teams.

CD Panthers 55
Richmond Bulldogs 0
As the score indicates this contest was dominated by the Panther as they provided their fans with physical and balanced attack against a talented and formidable opponent, the Richmond Bulldogs. The Panther offense was on all cylinders and the defense smothered their opponent scoreless. Valiantly the Richmond Bulldogs competed with passion and pride but they will have to wait till next week to a W in the win column.

Rainier Ravens 32
Beacon Hill Cowboys 26
This was a great game for the Beacon Hill Cowboys to came up just a bit short. Cowboy Darryl “DJ” Saulsbury had a tremendous game on offense by leading his team with three touchdowns and for a second game ran for over 200 yards. Trayvius Coe ran the ball well and added a touchdown in the second half with Nehemiah Washington scoring the extra point to create a tie game. Both offenses were on point but, it came down to the last play of the game when the Ravens scored to win the game.

Tacoma Panthers 12
BGC Seahawks 0
Game ended in the first quarter due to injuries

Seatac Sharks 38
253 Spartans 0
The Sharks came into this contest with a mission. The Spartans came into this game to win, but in sports there are only two outcomes one must win and the other suffers a loss. On this occasion the Sharks came out on the winning side. The Sharks had several contributors to the victory touchdown runs by Jose, Jorje and Paris as well as a touchdown catch by Devin, a pick six by Julian spread the scoring wealth. Defensively Xavier with a fumble recovery and staunch defensive line on the 253’s run game help seal a win for the Sharks. 253 played a competitive game and is a very talented team as they look forward to next week to do better.
