In a rematch of week one the CD Panthers 6Us traveled to Renton Memorial to take on the Benson Bruins with touchdowns by Jamoni Castilio and DJ and with the help of a stingy the CD Panthers defense, the Panthers prevailed to a 12-0 victory in a hard fought game. From the Bruin’s perspective the much anticipated rematch between themselves and the CD Panthers resulted in another win for the CD Panthers. The Bruins battled hard but the tough Panthers were able to score twice and hold the Bruins scoreless. The Bruins dropped to 1-2, both losses at the hands of the CD Panthers. The Bruins do not seem to have the Panthers’ number, yet.

The Beacon Hill Cowboys came out on the losing end this weekend against the Rainier Ravens 33-0 . This was the team’s first taste of defeat and they didn’t like it very much. But the Cowboys are a good team and will bounce back. The Ravens on the other hand came out on a rainy day in Seattle, as the two undefeated teams made for a very competitive contest. The Ravens 33-0 win brings their record to 3 Wins 0 Losses. The duo Raevion R. and Jayden H. remain unmatched on both sides of the ball — offense and defense. Raevion R. ran for a 45 yard touchdown to seal the deal for the Ravens.

BGC came in the game with the run game on their minds. A hard fought game against a formidable Infamous Allstars, two equal teams battle over the weekend to a standstill. The offenses were persistent, but the defenses remained staught. Darnell Sillers rumbled for two touchdowns (38, 35 yards), while Jayceon Moon-Walker had 12 yard touchdown run. When there is equal talent it is difficult to decipher the better team and that is why we have ties.
