Benson Bruins 6
This game of the week showdown between two of the freshmen division’s top teams did not disappoint. The CD Panthers took an early 6-0 lead in the first half. The Bruins came back in the third quarter and tied the score at 6-6 with a William Conroy Jr. touchdown. The score was deadlocked with less than a minute remaining and overtime seemed imminent. Then, with less than a minute the Panthers were able to score a touchdown and secure a 12-6 victory. Panthers Dash Jones found the end zone to keep the Freshman Panthers undefeated 6-0-1. Benson’s Will Conroy Jr. scored to keep the game on edge.
CD Panther’s Kyle Bechtel ran 22 yards for the games opening touchdown late in the first quarter. Benson’s Will Conroy had an impressive 90 yard TD run in the 3rd qtr to tie the game up. Tie ball game. The CD Panthers with 50 seconds remaining Dash broke 30 yards to setup a 5 yard touchdown run by JAndre Castillo who was a workhorse all day. Benson with 5 seconds remaining they threw a pass to their star player Will Conroy but it was batted down by Dash to end the game.

Kobe Ulugalu led the Sharks with 75 yards rushing and two touchdowns as the Sharks ran away with game. Malik Siva-Lewis broke for a 50 yard touchdown to seal the victory. Roman Tauiliili got his first carries of the season and scored twice in extra points. Elu Feo and Saucy Kongaika led the Sharks defense in an impressive win.
Beacon Hill Cowboys 13
SWAC Cougars 7
Another win for the freshmen Cowboys 13 to 6 both touchdowns and the extra point were scored by Alontae Coe, along with the help of some runs by Traveon Isabell, Zion Ulugalu and Demetrios Gordon. The defense played a good game lead by Bishop with some touchdown saving tackles
