Obituary – Annie B. Ellis

Annie B. Ellis, a woman of great integrity, a lover of life and family was born in Abrenant, Alabama, on January 18, 1922 to Marshall and Ethel Davis. She transitioned on Thurs., January 16, 2020 surrounded by family.

On January 16, 1959, Annie married Carl Ellis and began their marriage of 53 years. This union combined a son (Michael) and two daughters (Carlena and Patricia).

Ellis was affectionately known as “Aunt Annie” to those who knew her. Her first love in life was Carl! Her second love was her family and the remainder of her time went to cooking, her best friend (Arizona Johnson), and gardening. Those that knew Ellis knew her love of her son and grandchildren.

A Homegoing Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. this Thurs., February 6 at 10:00 am at First AME Church – 1522 14th Ave in Seattle, WA. A Viewing will be held at 9:00 am.
