
Crystal Regine Green was born on June 20, 1960, in Seattle, Washington. She was the sixth child born to Geraldine and Jewel Green. Green accepted Christ at an early age and was a long-time member of Full Gospel Pentecostal Federated Church under the leadership of the late Bishop S.D. Leffall. She attended Rainier Beach Senior High School, where she graduated in 1971.
In 1976, she gave birth to Gregory Eugene Hubbard and later to Andrea Deon Hubbard. She was married to the late David Hubbard and moved to Arkansas for a short while before returning to Washington state.
In June 2024, Green retired from Gilead after 17 years of service as an administrative professional. During that time, she received many awards and certificates for her outstanding professionalism. Green was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family and shopping.
The Lord called Green home on July 12, 2024, after a valiant battle against an illness that had plagued her body but not her soul for many years. The joy of the Lord was her strength. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Green leaves to cherish her memory a loving son, Gregory Hubbard, daughter Andrea Hubbard, grandsons Jaelin Hubbard and Aaron Hubbard. Siblings; Bobby Mccline, Jewel Green, Charles Green, Paul Green, Josef Green, Kelvin Green, Sheila Evans, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Green is preceded in death by her parents, Jewel and Geraldine Green, and her sister Virginia Grayson.
Green’s Homegoing and Celebration of Life service will be held at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, 1700 Edmonds Avenue NE, Renton, Washington, 98056. The service will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m.
