Doris McDaniel passed away on January 14, 2018 at the age of 99.
McDaniel was born on August 6, 1918 in Nixon, Texas to Walker and Leola Spriggs. The family moved to Seattle in 1949 where she became a dedicated member of Ebenezer A.M.E. Zion Church.
McDaniel’s passions were her children and grandchildren, as well as her ministry of making and taking blankets and booties that she crocheted to seniors and the disabled.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 27 at Ebenezer Zion A.M.E. Church – 1716 23rd Ave, Seattle, WA 98122.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Ebenezer A.M.E. Zion Church.
