Harold Tevis Snowden was born January 24, 1942 in Newellton, Louisiana and departed this earth on January 12, 2016. Born to Louis J. and Emma Snowden, Harold was introduced to God at an early age at Mount Zion Baptist Church. In 2005, Harold joined New Beginnings Christian Fellowship and remained a faithful member until his passing.
Harold worked in many industries, but his favorite job was mentoring others which he did at the 23rd & Cherry Fellowship Hall where he modeled 32 years of sobriety.
Harold leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 28 years Sheila Guy-Snowden; beloved sisters Doris Mitchell, Connie (David) Bown, Jean Mills and Linda (Otis) Roberson; in-laws Patricia Ruffin, Sharon (Tom) Pepe and James Guy, Sr; seven children – Javonnie, Kelly, Harold Jr., Tony, Tenisha, Rhonda (Mario) and Tevis; 21 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and a host of loyal friends and family.
Visitation will be from 5-7pm Fri. Jan. 29, 2016 and continue from 11am until time of funeral service at 12 Noon Sat. Jan. 30, 2016 all at New Beginnings Christian Fellowship 19300 108th Ave. SE Renton, WA 98055. Interment will be at 10:30AM Mon. Feb. 1, 2016 at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.
