Carter’s life was a testament to the love, joy, and intelligence she brought to the world and to all who were a part of hers. Her legacy of kindness and warmth will be cherished and imprinted in the world for the body of work she’d crafted thus far and will never die through her family.

Thank you for everything, Woody, Grandma, Momma, Auntie, Mary; however you served us as your family, we were blessed to have been around, and know we’ll never let your flame burn out.
