Ralph Young was born in Shorterville, Al where he was loved and raised by his grandmother Eva Brown. He joined the United States Army at an early age and was honorably discharged in 1963.

Ralph was preceded in death by his lovely wife of 48 years, Deaconess Emma Young; son, Marvin Young; sister, Annie Lee Stinson.

He is survived by his children: Ralph A. Young and Tamisha (les) Cooper; grandchildren, Donivhen Dodson, Latascha and Isaiah Cooper and a host of other relatives and friends.

He will be missed dearly by his contagious smile, love to play dominoes and telling jokes to make others laugh.
