Obituary – Rev. Tony Eastland, Sr.

Rev. Tony Eastland, Sr. of Renton, Washington, went home to be with our lord and savior at the age of 59 after a long battle with cancer. Surrounded by his family, he went peacefully on Feb. 14, 2017.

Eastland was born on May 30, 1957 in Seattle, Washington to the union of Edward and Dorothy Eastland.

An inspiration to many, Pastor Tony was loving, wise, funny, but most of all courageous. He prided himself on being a great husband, father, and grandfather.  Pastor Tony loved watching his sports, but his favorite was football. He loved traveling, spending time with his family, and spreading the word of God.

Pastor Tony attended Queen Anne High school where he met his wife of 35 years, Marion Carlisle. They married April 24, 1981 and went on to have 3 children.

He was a member of local 528, where he was a cement finisher for 31 years, until his health failed him.
Pastor Tony gave his life to Christ many years ago under the teaching of Pastor Frank Johnson of New Born Pentecostal Church. He later attended The Academy of Theology where he earned his Theological Degree, after realizing God was also calling him teach the Gospel. He later opened his own ministry where he was the Pastor of unity Pentecostal church until his passing.

Pastor Tony is proceeded in by his mother and father Edward and Dorothy Eastland, His first born son Tony Eastland, Jr., and his youngest sister Pamela Eastland. Pastor Tony leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Marion Eastland, his only daughter Ranisha Albert (Dimicho), his youngest son Domonique Eastland (Donzilai), Five grandchildren, Alton Dickerson 3rd, Tony, Makayla, Dakota, and Dream Eastland, A sister Lynette Eastland and brother Carlos Eastland, a father and mother in law who he considered to be like his own parents, Dawson and Jessie Carlisle, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and Friends. Pastor Tony will be missed by all that loved him.
