Aug. 10, 1937 – Aug. 2, 2019

Thomas Kennedy, Jr.  was born in New Orleans, LA, when the family moved to Seattle from Bremerton. Kennedy was the driving force to get his mom, Elizabeth Green, to join Peoples Institutional Baptist Church (PIBC) with him.  Kennedy sang with the PIBC male choir and was very proud of his church.

Kennedy graduated from Garfield High School and studied at University of Portland, University of Washington, and received an Associate Degree from Edison Technical School in Business Administration.

Kennedy is survived by his step-sister Rosalie Brantley, children; five sons Gary (wife Kim), Steven, Patrick, Thomas Paul, and Morgan Kennedy, one daughter Bridget Sessum.  He has 18 grandchildren, Steven Jr., Aiyana, Naomi, Elijah, LaLasha, Christopher, Onetha, Manny, Donavan, Dominique, Thomas Paul Jr., Bridget, Jahania, Jahari, Jahi, Shavanne, and several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
