Velma Lurine Davis was called home on Weds., Nov. 29, 2017. She was born on August 2, 1956 to James & Carole Davis.
Davis graduated from Roosevelt High School in Seattle, WA and attended Seattle Community College. She went on to work for Seattle Public Schools helping special needs children. She loved spending time with family and friends.
Davis was preceded in death by her Father, James L. Davis, Sr. and her nephew DeJuan Johnson. She is survived by her Mother, Carole E. Davis, her brothers, James & Mark and her sisters, Carole & Lori. As well as her sons Richard & Christopher. She is also survived by her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncle and a host of extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Mt Zion Baptist Church in Seattle on Sat., Dec. 9, 2017 at 10:30 a.m.
