Wayne J. Burton aka Lover B departed and arrived with the Lord November 3, 2015, around 1:00pm at his residence in West Seattle, Washington.
Born on March 27, 1971 in Seattle, Washington to his loving parents Bonnie Burton and the late Tom Burton, Wayne graduated from Ingraham High School in 1989. He enjoyed rapping, writing, playing dominos, hanging out with friends and family, and watching the Hawks! Go Hawks! He was proud to be from Seattle and a Seahawks Fan. He was baptized on May 10, 1981 at Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church in Seattle.
Wayne loved his family and one of his wishes was for all of us to get back together and be the family we once were. He wanted us to get together for an annual celebration, so we can just love on one another. Wayne was loved, he loved to be loved, and give love. He adored being around people that cared for him. He had a huge heart.
Wayne is survived by his two children; Jeneva Burton and Kaiden Burton, mother; Bonnie Burton, brothers; Claude Burton, Bobby Burton, and Tony Burton, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of relatives and friends.
A Celebration Of Life for Wayne will be held on Sat., Nov. 21 at Greater Mt. Baker Baptist Church – 2425 S. Jackson Street in Seattle. Viewing will be at 9:00 a.m. and the service will begin at 11:00 a.m. A repast will follow the service.
