Obituary – William O. Robinson, Sr.

William (Bill) O. Robinson Sr., 88, of Kent, WA, peacefully passed away on Feb. 18, 2020.

Born October 27, 1931 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Robinson attended the University of Minnesota and University of Washington. He was employed by the Boeing Company in 1956 working as a Metallurgical Engineer, retiring 1995.

Robinson was a member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity for over 60 years, a member of First AME Church of Seattle since 1956 and he sang in the choir for 52 years. He also worked as a Guardian ad Litem advocating for children/adolescents.

Robinson is survived by wife, Rose Ella; blended family, sons, Brett and Brian; daughters, Kimberly, Collette (Lisa), Kyle, and Jeannie; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Elsie; and a host of nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by son Billy; sisters, Lois and Elaine; brother, Wallace.

A Memorial Service will be held on Weds., Mar. 4 at 11:00 am at First AME Church, 1522 14th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122.
