Bring County Council Town Hall to the UW Campus The wet spring has not made up for the region’s dry winter. The Council will hold the Town Hall on the campus of the University of Washington, at the Husky Union Building (HUB) East Ballroom, starting at 9:30 a.m. The panel briefing the public and Councilmembers on water conservation and regional water supply issues will include: Pam Bissonnette, Director of the King County Department of Natural Resources and Parks; Grant Degginger, Chair, Cascade Water Alliance; and representatives from the Climate Impacts Group and Seattle Public Utilities Citizens will also have a chance to speak directly to the Council during the public comment period. The public is invited to meet face-to-face with councilmembers at an informal reception at 9:30 a.m. The Town Hall starts at 10:00 a.m. The Town Hall meeting is part of the Council’s Committee-of-the-Whole, the only standing committee on which all 13 members serve.
