“Do You Trust That The Trump Administration Will Effectively Manage/Address Infectious Diseases?”

Adrien:
“Given what’s happened before in past administrations, I don’t think the Trump administration will be able to handle this properly. We thought the last guy was going to do something, but it seemed a little bit mishandled, mismanaged, and I think that’s probably what we can expect from this one.”
Charles:
“No, because I don’t think he’s doing a great job of what he’s doing right now in the world. Not at all. Not at all.”
John:
“I don’t believe that he or his administration will be prepared. He hasn’t proven that he can get anything done but start race problems. Other than that, that’s about what he’s good for.”
Zephaniah:
“I would hope that the Trump administration could learn from their mistakes last time with COVID, and maybe there’s a new light, and maybe things can be handled differently for the American citizens so that we don’t have to deal with another lockdown again.”
Joseph:
“With the experience from the previous COVID-19, I’m sure they should be prepared to be able to tackle something like that based on the experience that they had with the COVID outbreak and how it really affected people due to unpreparedness and the readiness to kind of tackle situations like that.”
Kidouse:
“Yeah, I hope so because we can refer to recent events and see that it isn’t the first time that there’s been an Ebola breakout. But I feel like, based on past experiences, one would hope that they can handle it. I am trying to be positive because one would hope that we would know what to do. I mean, we have been here forever.”
