SIFF Movie Preview: Promised Sky

As anti-immigrant violence grows in Tunisia, three women from Ivory Coast struggle to build safe and stable lives far from home. Their lives change when they take in Kenza, a young girl who survives a migrant shipwreck and loses her family. Together, the women form a fragile new family while facing fear, hardship, and uncertain futures. Promised Sky is a moving story about survival, friendship, and the strength people find in caring for one another.
