QueenCare Named Business Of The Month By Office Of Economic Development

Monika Mathews of Queencare proudly displays their business of the month award from the Seattle Office of Economic Development.

Queencare, a Seattle-based, luxury skincare brand, has been recognized by the City of Seattle’s Office of Economic Development (OEDD) as the Small Business of the month for April.

Located in Columbia City, Queencare was inspired by Monika Mathews’ time of personal growth in building both Life Enrichment Group and QueenCare.

Mathews and her team began to make and sell all-natural products based off of recipes that Mathews’ mentor had passed down to her. QueenCare serves so many great purposes such as employment for youth from Life Enrichment program, Young Queens.

Each month the staff at the Office of Economic Development and community members nominate small businesses that they believe fit the criteria of what they look for in a Small Business of The Month. In their recognition, OED is drawn to businesses that do great work and have strong ties in their community.

In recognizing Queencare, OED expressed their excitement for QueenCare’s success and their strong ties to the community they serve.

“We are huge fans of your business and would like to show it some love by featuring it as the Office of Economic and Development’s Small Business of the Month,” said Domonique Meeks, OED Small business advocate.
