Obituary: Patricia Lynn (Guy) Ruffin

Patricia Lynn (Guy) Ruffin, lovingly known as “Pat”, was born on March 6, 1949, in Seattle, Washington, and passed away on April 15, 2026. She was the first of four children born to James Guy, Sr. and Rita Barnett.

Pat attended Seattle Public Schools and graduated from Queen Anne High School. She later made Fairfield, California her home for more than 20 years before moving to Fort Worth, Texas in October 2025 to live with her only child, Tracy (Guy) Jayroe.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and her sister, Sharon Pepe.

 Pat is survived by her daughter, Tracy (Guy) Jayroe; her sister, Sheila Guy Snowden; her brother, James Guy, Jr.; her goddaughter, Alexis Williams; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Pat will be remembered for her strength, love for family, friends and the lasting impact she made on those who knew her.
