Rev. Dr. Robert L. Manaway, Sr. Joins The Truth Radio Ministry

Last week, Kris Bennett Broadcasting Co., Inc (1420 KRIZ & 1620 KYIZ) announced that Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church’s Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. Robert L. Manaway, Sr. will join Rev. Ruth Saunders as co-host of The Truth Radio Ministry.

Former Truth Radio Ministry co-host Rev. Dr. Samuel Berry McKinney retired after 13 years on the popular Sunday morning broadcast that applies the Gospel to everyday life experiences. Dr. McKinney welcomes Dr. Manaway as the new Co-host to the Truth Radio Ministry and believes that Manaway will be able to use this new platform to continue to teach, lead and inspire many people in the community.

“We welcome Rev. Dr. Robert L. Manaway, Sr. to The Truth,” says McKinney. “He brings quite a bit to the table. He has the experience, ability and creativity to do an excellent job!

“We graciously welcome him and I am always willing to help him in any way I can,” added McKinney. “Rev. Dr. Manaway, welcome to the Truth.”

Rev. Saunders expresses great appreciation for the many years she worked with Rev. Dr. McKinney who she says was such a pleasure to work with always appropriately adding a little humor to the deep seriousness of God’s Word. He has been such a blessing to so many locally, regionally and nationally, Saunders said of the 91-year-old, Pastor to the ‘Greater Church Community.’

Saunders also expressed great excitement at having the dynamic Rev. Dr. Robert L. Manaway, Sr. join the Broadcast.

“He [Manaway] is a seasoned Pastor who has been broadcasting on Sunday mornings on KRIZ since the beginning of the Heaven Bound Train,” said Saunders. “The greater Seattle and Portland audiences are very familiar with his voice on the air and his vey dynamic ministry from within Tabernacle. I look forward to bringing this new dimension of the Gospel to our audiences.”
