I feel like there is so much we could get rid of to better our world, our planet but personally I think one of the main things we could easily get rid of is hatred. If we could get rid of hatred we would be able to start doing things with love and compassion and to me I feel like that is the most important thing. When you do things with love and compassion, you are able to influence others, your able to connect differently and obviously you’re doing it with genuine and sincere love and I feel like that’s the best way to accomplish anything within our communities and the world in general.

The idea of being better than the other person. In other words, if there is one thing I would like to get rid of in this world is the fact that having that thought process of being better than others. And I find it so disturbing that as a human race. With my religious background, I feel like we were brought into this world together and we have certain expectations of us as a human race. But then again, all these problems the human race continues to experience I think they come from the fact the some people think they are better than others in one way or the other. So from that line of thought if we can get rid of that superiority complex, we would be in a better place. The world would be better.

If I could rid the world of one thing it would be greed. Because a lot of people take for their own and do not give back, saying for example, this person has something and another doesn’t. With greed people keep taking and taking it from others especially if they don’t need it. You have an infinite amount of everything and there’s people who don’t have anything and not sharing the wealth, no man should be richer than the other. Spread the wealth.

I would get rid of death because death is like permanent separation from loved ones and sometimes it is real hard to live your life without that someone. But at the same time, if you were to rid the world of death there would be a lot of people in the world and I don’t think we would be able to sustain that. There wouldn’t be enough resources, but that is my wish. I still would get rid of death, it’s just not a good thing.

I would say negative morality because if people have morals they’re more unlikely to do negative things in the community or society. So negative morality to stop people from doing just anything negative in general.

I’m a student here at Seattle Central and the question posed to me, if I could rid the world of one thing what would it be? And I have of course chose prejudice. Prejudice and discrimination of any kind disturbs me greatly. It minimizes growth and if there was a lack of that it would be a better world.
