What Are Your Thoughts On The Current State Of The Economy?

Patrice:
“There is a lot that needs to be corrected if anything. I don’t think that the economy is there. Right now, with inflation, gas prices, and everything, the wages people earn are not livable. There are just a lot of things that need to change in the economy, and it is only going to get worse with all the deportations and fighting wars. I don’t see a good outcome.”
Omar:
“I mean, it’s not bad, and it’s not good. There are a lot of things that go into it. But to make it short and sweet, it’s more like trying to find the right thing to do, as far as to make sure ends meet. But to me, right now it is good, but I do work two jobs and have to do a lot to really just thrive in this economy.”
Taylor:
“I feel like we could do a lot better. The gas prices are ridiculous. I have a new car, and it takes premium gas, and it is at $7 a gallon right now, which is crazy. I have noticed my rent in Seattle is higher, and my utility bill. I feel like there should be more resources for people who don’t have kids or a disability because right now I feel like a lot of the resources available are for those who have kids or other things, and there should be more benefits for us people who are just trying to maneuver through this economy.”
Gideon:
“I think it’s not in the best place right now, especially with gas prices so high, and it’s mainly due to the wars that our President has initiated. I have had a hard time looking at my investing portfolio for the past couple of weeks because of it. So, I would love to see the war end so we can get things back on an upward trajectory.”
Amanuel:
“Having a war that our President initiated is not great. The tariffs, the increasing prices in gas and everyday items are at an all-time high, and it is a lot harder to just be able to stay in an economy like this and be able to thrive.”
Bernard:
“The rising cost of living is a lot like the rain in Seattle, it will always be here. To combat this, I could say things like make more money, get a better-paying job, or start a business. But not everyone is in a position to make more money. So what are some alternatives? Simplify your life. Stop eating out at restaurants and cook your food at home. Take public transportation to help save money. A little discipline in the short run can make a big difference in the long run. Within a reasonable amount of time, you will find yourself in a more stable position and better able to handle the continued rising cost of living.”
