SACRED ARTS FESTIVAL AT THE MARKETPLACE CELEBRATION

As the Mount Zion Baptist Church Women’s Ministry and Church Arts Ministry extend our reach for Christ, we invite you to join us Saturday, February 26th, in spirit-filled praise and worship followed by selections from local vocalists, musicians, praise dancers, poets, and storytellers. There will be shopping with vendors. Special guest Lyah LeFlore, author of the book “Cosmopolitan Girl”, will read and lecture at 6:00 PM. This event is free to the public. This festival precedes our Women’s Week celebration, which will be held March 7th through the 13th. Join us in a Prayer Vigil Monday, quilting class Tuesday, Prayer Meeting Wednesday, dynamic workshops Thursday, a banquet Saturday, and a reception Sunday. The Reverend Dr. Patricia Wilson-Cone of Miami, Florida, will be our guest speaker at the banquet and both worship services on Sunday, March 13th. Please contact Marion Nesby at 206-322-6500 for more information about the Sacred Arts Festival or visit www.mountzion.net. Vendors may contact Ann Gaston Branch at 206-694-9211 directly. Events will be held at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 1634 19th Ave., Seattle, WA 98122.
