Rainier Beach 89, Garfield 77
Rainier Beach claimed the 3A Boys Metro League title, defeating Garfield 89-77. Rainier Beach’s Jaylen Petty led all scorers as he finished the game with 27 points, while Kaden Powers had 24 points, and Dre Morris chipped in 18 points to lead the Vikings. Tripp Haywood led Garfield with 19 points, while JuJu Ervin finished the night with 17 points, and Doni Burkett ended the game with 15 points.

Bishop Blanchet 68, O’Dea 65
The number 12 seed Bishop Blanchet knocked the number 5 seed O’Dea out of the playoffs with a 68-65 victory. Blanchet will now take on number 4 seed Liberty (Renton) in the next round.

Renton 69, Chief Sealth 68
No. 3 seed Renton defeated Chief Sealth in a hard-fought battle, 69-68. With the win, Renton advances to take on number 2 seed Nathan Hale, and Chief Sealth moves to the loser’s bracket, where they will take on Evergreen.

Seattle Prep 75, Mercer Island 63
Seattle Prep advances to the next round of districts, where they will take on Garfield, after defeating Mercer Island 75-63 in a loser-out game.

West Seattle 44, Roosevelt 41
West Seattle defeated Roosevelt 44-41 in a loser-out game on February 15. With the win, number 10 seed West Seattle will take on number 2 seed Bellevue in the next round of districts.

Eastside Catholic 67, Inglemoor 54
The Eastside Catholic Crusaders scored 39 second-half points as they defeated Inglemoor 67-54. Inglemoor was led by Aman Sterling, who scored 20 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals in a losing effort.
