Seattle’s Rainier Beach neighborhood was shaken early Sunday morning by a tragic double homicide outside the Capri Hookah Lounge, prompting a swift response from law enforcement. The Seattle Police Department announced that a 25-year-old suspect has been apprehended and booked into King County Jail on multiple murder charges.
The events unfolded at approximately 3:30 a.m. when police received urgent reports of gunfire in the parking lot of the nightclub located in the 9200 block of Rainier Avenue South. Upon their arrival, officers discovered a security guard who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, indicating the severity of the situation. Tragically, they also found a second victim who had suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Despite immediate medical attention, the security guard’s condition deteriorated, and he was later pronounced dead at the hospital, deepening the community’s grief and concern over the violence.
