Find out how to discover your purpose and meet local author Emille Bryant, as he reads his debut book, “Start With A Sparkle,” this Sun., Oct. 5th at 3:30 p.m. at Douglass-Truth Branch of the Seattle Public Library, 2300 E. Yesler Way, Seattle WA.
In his inspirational debut, “Start with a Sparkle,” Bryant, a graduate from the U.S. Air Force Academy, returns to his Central District roots to challenge readers to unlock gifts that will transform lives and lead to grand adventures. For Bryant, it’s simple. Everyone already has the tools to live their best life. The hard part is knowing what to do with them. In his book, Bryant challenges readers to recognize their own unique talents and discover how to live a purposeful, self-directed life.
Bryant is truly a Seattleite, attending Mercer Island High School and living right in the middle of the Central District. He knew Metro as well as any driver. After a stellar military career, retiring as a highly decorated Lt. Colonel from the United States Air Force, Bryant pursued his own nonprofit to empower volunteers who foster STEM and Arts programs in their communities. His mission to help people discover their purpose was bolstered after witnessing how those experiences transformed the volunteers’ lives and those around them.
Bryant believes that tapping into our individual gifts and sharing them leads to a grand adventure that inspires love and peace around the world. And it all starts with a sparkle.
