B for Boy is a poignant story set in Nigeria about Amaka, a 39-year old career woman, 6 months pregnant, and under intense pressure to have a baby boy. Threatened with the prospect of her husband taking a second wife, she goes to great lengths to ensure that she delivers a son. Exploring the tension between modern and traditional Nigeria, B for Boy is an intimate portrait of a woman caught in a desperate situation.
