SIFF Movie Preview: Black Burns Fast

At a strict South African girls’ boarding school, quiet scholarship student Luthando tries hard not to stand out. Her world changes when bold and confident Ayanda arrives and pulls her into new friendships, first love, and exciting experiences. As the two grow closer in a secret romance, Luthando begins to discover who she really is. But when trouble puts her scholarship and future at risk, she must find the courage to speak up and live life on her own terms.
