Southside Church of Christ is inviting married and engaged couples from across the community to attend “Twogether As One,” a special Marriage Workshop designed to strengthen relationships through biblical principles, communication, and connection.

The workshop will take place on May 30, 2026, at Southside Church of Christ and will feature encouraging lessons, practical tools, and uplifting discussions aimed at helping couples grow together spiritually, emotionally, and relationally. The event is themed around Genesis 2:24 and the biblical principle of becoming “one flesh” in marriage.

Hosted by Anthony and Ira Booker of Bird Street Church of Christ in Tennessee, the workshop will focus on strengthening marriages through faith-centered guidance and shared experiences. Organizers say the event is intended to provide couples with meaningful opportunities to reflect, reconnect, and deepen their commitment to one another.

According to event organizers, “Twogether As One” was created to encourage couples to invest intentionally in their relationships while building stronger spiritual foundations within the home.

The workshop will explore communication, emotional connection, and biblical perspectives on marriage in a welcoming environment designed to support couples at different stages of their journey, including those preparing for marriage.

Promotional materials for the event emphasize that marriage is more than a commitment between two people, describing it as “a covenant that reflects Christ’s love for the church” and encouraging couples to explore what it means to truly become “one flesh” in every area of marriage.

Organizers hope participants leave encouraged and equipped with practical tools to continue strengthening their relationships beyond the workshop.

The event is open to married and engaged couples throughout the community.
