Spicer Stands By Unfounded Surveillance Claim

At a White House press briefing, Press Secretary Sean Spicer stood by unfounded claims by President Trump that the Obama administration surveilled Trump Tower during the 2016 campaign. The speaker of the House, the Senate Intelligence Committee chairman and the ranking Democrat on the committee have all said they’ve seen no evidence of President Trump’s accusation.
