Island Soul, a local Black-owned restaurant in Seattle, has rebranded its Kirkland location to align with its renowned Seattle identity. The owner, Theo Martin, is also engaging in The Seattle Medium’s Samples of the Sound holiday giveaway, offering up to $1,000 in gift cards to local eateries with other partnered restaurants. Island Soul has been a community staple for decades, with Martin honoring his family’s legacy while pioneering in the culinary field.
